BE TRUE TO YOURSELF

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF. written by Sylvia Marina

Confidence is an ability to stand firm, to believe in yourself, to trust your intuition.

Often we don’t understand life’s journey with its many twists and turns, but if we have an inner sanctuary where we can connect to our inner wisdom and trust our soul to guide us, we can confidently pioneer and forge the pathway of our dreams.

Many adults facing their own mortality have a common regret; they wish they had grasped the courage to live life, true to themselves, not the life others expected of them.

Too many have taken a career others wanted them to pursue! For some reason they felt bonded or obliged to become for example a farmer, factory worker, lawyer, doctor, when their hearts desire was to become a musician, singer, writer or artist.

There was a time in my own life when a work choice was made for me. I was young and forced to be my own financial provider. There were some aspects of that eight thousand hour apprenticeship that I enjoyed but mostly, I resented my situation in life.

Looking back it seemed that every day I planned and plotted how I could make my life different in the future. Friends, those dreams came true.

Not all of those four years were wasted.

I did a lot of growing up working from early morning until the day’s work was complete, and by the time I was eighteen years of age I was ready to face the larger challenges of life...my ‘life choice’ journey began. So many aspects of my life were still in the embryo stage of the ‘big-picture’ but I had an inner confidence that life would be kind to me, I was willing to work to make it happen, I could one day ‘be the person I envisaged I could become’.

This week brought another of those moments that confirmed to my soul ‘dreams do come true’.
I wrote on my Facebook page...

I love that moment when you stand in front of an audience and they joyously applaud...and you haven't even said a word. It happen to me. A humble moment when you feel the love...and a little tear sneaks out the corner of your eye. Thankyou. You touched my heart which then delivered one of the best presentations I have ever given. I love what I do. BlesSings.

Many adults have not yet honoured their dreams. Caught up in establishing a career, mortgage, family and relationship, it is easy to lose sight of your dreams, what you wish to become and the joy you know when you are, fulfilling your purpose.

My client cried, his dream of what he wanted to become was a secret hidden deep within his heart. I asked him about his spouse relationship...had he ever shared that dream with the one he loved so dearly?

Transparent relationships are the best, long-lasting, true and sincere relationships to have.

After our conversation, my client gained the confidence to share his long-held dream with his wife. She cried, hugged him and promised to support him to ‘make it happen’.

Confidence and courage brings freedom.
If you have a deep held secret... I help people, make their dreams come true.
