TRUE LIFE PURPOSE

TRUE LIFE PURPOSE written by Sylvia Marina

Life Purpose, what is it?
We often hear the expression Life Purpose and most everyone is looking to achieve that ultimate but what is it that we are really aspiring to?

Some people think it is some sort of New Age platitude, but let’s look at reality.

We are all born with a blueprint for our individual lives, it’s our DNA.

When you ask "What is my purpose?" or "What should I be doing?", you're really trying to get clarity on your own blueprint, which is ultimately the way you most easily share joy and happiness with others.

For me, The purpose of life is to experience joy and happiness.

Note: the important word here is experience.
Many speak, read, write, tell others about joy and happiness, do you really experience it.

An added bonus, when you have joy and happiness you automatically experience harmony too.

True life purpose is not a hobby or some extra-curricular activity that one is passionate about and pays attention to on long weekends or holiday time. It is about living consciously and courageously, resonating with love and compassion, awakening the great-spirit within others, evolving and leaving this world in peace.

Discovering your purpose is the easy part. The challenge is keeping it with you on a daily basis and working on yourself, transcending  to the point where you become your purpose.

Doubts, fears, insecurities, addictions, stop us from getting started or past the flurry of the honeymoon period. Everyone wants to hit the ground running when it comes to true life purpose, but if you haven’t overcome insecurities and addictions you will struggle. Deep down you probably know there is a spiritual element to life, you have a desire to help others and to make a difference in the world, however you just can’t seem to figure out what it is that’s the right path for you.

If you truly want to unleash your true purpose, you must reveal and unleash your true self. That may mean leaving a part of your current life, stop addictive behaviour, leave the ‘short term pleasure palaces’, wipe the slate clean. Embrace and experience purposeful, meaningful and spiritually fulfilling practices.

For most, during a life changing turn-around obstacles can appear, I acknowledged them as fear, those insecurities that sometimes act like an elastic band pulling us back to the purposeless, unfulfilling old way of life. You need to cut these bands...

  1. Undeserving Of Love, Wealth, Happiness
  2. Fear Of What Others Think
  3. Fear Of Failure
  4. Fear Of Responsibility
  5. Fear Of Family Rejection
  6. Fear Of Success
  7. Unworthy
  8. Excessive Humility
  9. Often Giving But Not Willing To Receive – Wanting To Please
  10. Wanting Your Purpose To Be Something Grand

These are just a few of the insecurities and addictive behaviours that prevent the door of your true life purpose to be open for you. If anything in the above list resonate with you, take a piece of paper and list the fears and emotions involved with that feeling. You may be surprised at what is lying beneath the surface holding you back from ‘evolving your future’.
