SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE NEVER GET BORED!

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE NEVER GET BORED Pdf

Recently I’ve been working with highly profitable people. People who are incredibly successful in business and in their personal lives! Not everyone gets both aspects of their life running successfully without huge challenges.

These people have valuable life skills that are worthy of mention.

They are not afraid to say “I love you” … and mean it!
They respect time, your time and their time.
They don’t get bored.
They don’t ignore the things they don’t like doing!

They have an incredible ability to ‘focus on what’s important’.
Over the past few weeks, in casual conversation I have asked people their secret to success and to define ‘what’s important’.

‘What’s Important?’  Love!
This truly is the key.

When you love what you do you never get bored.

Successful people value time. They don’t shirk from the things they don’t like doing. Each person I asked used different words that all related to the same answer – we must all pull our weight and share the pleasant and unpleasant tasks, both at work and in our personal lives.

In the workplace they enjoy appropriate fun but don’t indulge in trivial distractions. They are not obsessed or interested with, what others are thinking, idle chatter or office gossip.

When you love the people you live with you respect the time you are away from them.
In the workplace successful people learn how to use their time wisely.
They have good habits and success routines.

We’ve heard of people learning from their mistakes. Actually we have more to learn from our success.
As we focus on our success it consistently raises our spiritual energy.

Take time today to list your good habits and success routines. You will find this exercise valuable, it will assist your future focus and time management.

Have you any idea how magnificent the people in your life really are?
Make a list of everyone who has a significant place in your life, personal and business, and write from your heart centre, what you truly feel about each one.

Have you ever told them? If you assume they know they are appreciated, you have it wrong. If you only tell them they are appreciated and what they do has value, in a speech or when there is an audience, you need to do more.
That sort of recognition is often seen as shallow, even though you may not intend it to be that way.

Tell them, in word, in remembrances i.e. remember to say thank you, remember to notice and mention the task was completed on time, remember to do special things, like…strawberries or fresh fruit platters for morning tea. Impromptu special moments that say ‘I appreciate you.’  One of the men I spoke with grows roses, azaleas’ and camellias. He takes ‘home grown’ flowers into the office and places them on the tables in the lunch room – this contribution becomes a conversation point.

Successful people have humility, kindness, compassion. They have positive body language, they speak words of assurance, encouragement, they are self affirming and approachable.

“The great thing about generously filling someone else's cup with the purest love is that it cannot help but overflow and splash some wonderful dollops on you too!”  author unknown

I have always been of the opinion that personal development comes before true success in your professional life. What are your success habits? And what are those that hold you back? And are you consciously re-evaluating them?

At the beginning of each day I have a brief meditation on making the time I have today, meaningful. And at the close of day, a review of the days accomplishments and sometimes, in the space called wisdom, a little self-counseling session before the close of day gratitude and quiet place meditation.
