STRESS IS A REALITY OF LIFE

STRESS IS A REALITY OF LIFE.
written by Sylvia Marina

What a fabulous time we’ve just come through.

Here in Western Australia the temperature dropped and we experienced the most wonderful taste of winter.
During the early winter storms the inflexible snapped and trees without a firm foundation were uprooted.

Nature has the amazing ability to teach us lessons. If only we could learn from her lessons quicker!

Have you ever noticed how sometimes you will be going along feeling just fine then all of a sudden, some little fixation or inconvenience pushes you right over the edge? What is it that has you untouchable one day and vulnerable the next?

When we are running low on internal resources we become much more susceptible to the influence of stress. You know the feeling. The feeling that you are being pulled in ten different directions and nothing is working out the way it should. It doesn’t take very long before your internal resources are stretched to the max in a situation like that. That’s when some little thing pushes you to your tipping point.

Stress like the winter storms is a reality of life, and that’s not always a bad thing. A manageable amount can be extremely motivating. It’s amazing how much we can accomplish when the right amount of pressure is on.

In life, instead of wishing (complacency) things would change, there are times when we need to initiate change and that takes courage.

If an area of your life has become a source of tension, if there is friction with others, give it some attention, resolve it before it accumulates and becomes overwhelming. Life is to be enjoyed, but I see a growing percentage of people where physical, mental, and emotional disorders are the direct result of accumulating stress.

Back to the weather! With the threat of the storms it was incredible how quickly the outdoor furniture was made secure and the gutters freed of leaves and branches. With the threat of danger and risk to property and human life, people prepared for the storms.

Just like the seasons we have the ability to change.

I am already aware that you are aware of the importance of personal and spiritual development and communication. I wish I could bring everyone to our Self Mastery program. It is packed full of valuable content and practical training. It will empower you and give you skills to greet the storms of life with preparedness and courage. You will gain new insight to manage stressful situations rather than being overwhelmed.
