BUSY BRAIN SYNDROME. written by Sylvia Marina

Do you have a constant dialogue in your head?

Are you the person who wants to be everything to everyone?

Too much time spent planning, too little time to do!

The ‘busy brain syndrome’ is at an epidemic magnitude in our society and it requires real effort and awareness to manage. The good news is, it is possible to manage but until you do, you will be restless, rushed and constantly focused on time management and issues relating to quality of life. You may even hear yourself voice-ing statements like ‘I don’t have time’ or I have to make time!

Friends, you can’t make time and neither can I. Time just is!

It is our self we must manage.

Recently in Russia the people I mentor in that country speak of the pressures of business, lifestyle, family and relationships. It is the same life pressures for my clients in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Europe ...

When the brain is overloaded with jumbled thoughts, excessively remembering appointments, messages and meeting deadlines, mental exhaustion happens. It is then mis-takes and accidents happen...and more, the body, whilst doing all it can to support the state of busy-ness you are in, begins to give you signs of weariness and exhaustion.

You begin to experience –

Forgetfulness, Irritability, Sleeplessness, Exhaustion

You have concerns regarding your –

Finances, Family, Relationships, Lifestyle

You desire -

Approval and Recognition

You have spent your entire life studying and training your brain to be clever and now that you have taught it to multi-task you discover it is time to re-train the brain to be still and quiet!

You yearn for –
                Time for Self

Your ultimate goal now is to train your mind to be quiet, focused and content, no matter where you are or what the circumstance.

It is unusual for a person to journey through life without health challenges. People who do, have the ability to deal with the day to day challenges in such a way that they constantly retain an inner sanctity! They have a meditative way of life, an inner place of peace and stillness.

I’ve charted the lives of many who excel in managing their lifestyles with seeming ease … they have family, mortgage, relationships … but have an ability to remain stable through the pressures, seasons and journeys of life.

By quieting your mind you enable the body to heal and sustain a healthy wholeness.

I practice and teach emotional mastery techniques and the most common question I am asked is … Sylvia how many hours a day do you meditate?
Meditation is a part of my daily living. I meditate for five to ten minutes, two to three times a day.
In times of extra pressure on my time or long distance travel, I will increase the frequency of meditation; it’s a proven way of eliminating the ‘Busy Brain Syndrome’.
